Despite massive corporate competition, smoking bans and rising rents, the Worlds End Bookshop is an enduring cultural icon in the heart of Chelsea, and a must-visit for those in the know, and in the area. We welcome all-comers at all hours: backpacking travellers, students who would otherwise resort to theft, honeymooners, aristocrats, autocrats, unbelievably wealthy plutocrats, Essex nans with a thing for Ernest Hemingway, former bullies, tarot-fanatics, Bloomsbury lodgers, handsome young men on bicycles, bearded ladies, Romantic teens, druids, pipers and dogs. Especially dogs.

If you call ahead we can prepare ourselves with extra coffee and/or beer, depending on what your am/pm situation/preference is. You are free to park on a the single yellow line directly in front of the shop between 10:00 and 4:00 for a short time. There is a loading bay across the street (in front of Juice Baby) and there is metred parking on the side streets off of Kings Road.

The closest tube stations are Sloane Square, Fulham Broadway and South Kensington. We are closely served by buses number 11, 19, 22, 49, 319.
